LITEON WoW Women's Association was initiated in 2023 by senior female executives of various departments; WoW wants to convey Women of Will, Wisdom, Wonder... We look forward to the establishment of internal organizations, combined with cross-departmental energy, to provide career development advice and learning opportunities to enhance the opportunities and competitiveness of female colleagues and realize their self-worth. In addition, it also promotes gender equality and enhances a friendly working atmosphere, hoping to attract external talents and retain outstanding internal women, so as to enhance the company's overall combat strength and competitiveness.

The company strictly prohibits all forms of sexual harassment in the workplace and has formulated relevant policies, such as the complaint and disciplinary policies for sexual harassment prevention, and the code of ethics for employees, etc. The company has also set up a special hotline for sexual harassment prevention and an E-Mail box to protect the information and rights of those who have complained, and to create a kind and reassuring workplace for its employees.

  • LITEON's global business locations serve as a platform for embracing diverse cultures around the world. Each plant location demonstrates a way of open and integrated culture and participates in a variety of local festive events to celebrate local seasons. These include the Mexican festivals of Dia de Muertos and Posada, Thailand's Songkran Water Festival, Vietnam's Mid-Autumn Festival, Taiwan's Lunar New Year, and the Dragon Boat Festival. These events have become a humanistic force that warms the hearts of people within the enterprise.

  • By participating in the activities, colleagues at each location will be able to gain a deeper understanding of the customs and traditions of different cultural circles, enhance mutual understanding and interaction among colleagues, and realize the corporate spirit of respecting multiculturalism and practising multiculturalism and integration.

  • As an example, the Kaohsiung-based "Taiwan-Vietnam Cultural Research Society" was founded by colleagues who felt that foreign migrant workers might need more support and cultural adaptation when working away from their hometowns, and therefore initiated the establishment of this society on their own initiative with the aim of creating a community with a taste of home for Vietnamese migrant workers, so that they can feel the warmth of home and a sense of belonging in Taiwan. Through food and language exchanges as the main elements, it not only promotes the connection of Vietnamese colleagues, but also allows Taiwanese and Vietnamese community members to share their cultures and experiences, promotes mutual understanding and awareness, and then helps community members to integrate more smoothly into the environment and to support each other and grow together in LITEON.
