LITEON LITE-ON TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION

ITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its April consolidated revenue of NT$13.8 billion, down 9% M-o-M due to the impact on supply chain from lockdown in East China area. Nevertheless, with cross-regional diversified production sites as well as flexible and quick response capacity management, LITEON still posted 1% yearly growth. Thanks to continuous optimization of product mix and the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January to April totaled NT$ 55 billion, up 7% Y-o-Y.

 

Opto-electronics business contributed a 21% share of total sales, of which, stable demand from LITEON’s worldwide No.1 shipment photocouplers used in industrial automation, high-end power supply and green energy applications; smooth delivery of high-end Mini LED and sensor modules applied in wearables, AR/VR devices, coupled with delivery growth of the electronic vehicle chargers and LED vehicle lighting, Opto-electronics business posted the continuous yearly growth.  

 

Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 35% share of sales, a monthly record in 2022, which already accounted for over 30% of total revenue for four consecutive months. Thanks to the delivery growth from high-end datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, Cloud & AIoT posted a yearly growth of 11%.

 

Information Technology & Consumer Electronics business accounted for 44% of sales, of which, market demand from the high-end Notebook PC power adapters, gaming power supplies, IT keyboards and mice, as well as laser models of multi-function peripherals remained stable.
