Lite-On Technology (2301 TW), the world's largest NB adapter maker reported worldwide consolidated October revenue of NT$14.3B, up 7.2% a month earlier.
Four key drivers, including Enclosure, Imaging, LED and Power Supplies, together contributed 47.4% in October. The accumulated contribution of the core product in the previous three quarters was 43.4%.
LED and power supply products were up 12% and 21% respectively a year earlier. Benefited from new orders in October, power supply and enclosure were up 72% and 21% a year earlier, as well as up 21% and 8% in September. As notebook PCs apply for LED backlight in the near future, the growth momentum of LED should be more than expected.
