Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported March consolidated revenue of NT$10.76 billion, up 26% M-o-M and 46% Y-o-Y, hitting a record monthly high. The impressive sales growth was attributable to Lite-On’s ongoing expansion in market share, coupled with rising demand. Consolidated revenue for Q1 was NT$28.7 billion with growth of 47% Y-o-Y, for Lite-On’s best quarterly result in six quarters.
Sales in March were particularly strong, with all of Lite-On’s major business units enjoying steady growth and the Power Supply, Cameral Module, HIS (Human Input Solutions – PC keyboards and peripherals), and Optoelectronics (LED) business units posting monthly growth of 40%, 37%, 34% and 22% respectively. Meanwhile, the Enclosure, Optoelectronics (LED), Camera Module and Power Supply business units posted remarkable annual growth of 72%, 54%, 51% and 22% Y-o-Y respectively.
