LITE-ON Technology Corporation

Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported June consolidated revenue of NT$11.27 billion, up 6% M-o-M and 40% Y-o-Y, hitting a record monthly high. The impressive sales growth was attributable to Lite-On’s ongoing expansion in market share, coupled with stable demand. Consolidated revenue for Q2 was NT$32.35 billion reflecting growth of 13% Q-o-Q and 43% Y-o-Y, hitting a record quarterly high and capping six consecutive quarters of growth. Cumulative sales from January through June reached NT$61.0 billion, up 45% Y-o-Y.

In June, all of Lite-On’s major business units showed steady growth sequentially. In particular, the Power Supply and Optoelectronics (LED) business units hit new record monthly highs. Meanwhile, the Camera Module, Optoelectronics (LED), HIS (Human Input Solutions – PC keyboards and peripherals) and Power Supply business units posted remarkable annual growth of 56%, 47%, 39% and 35% Y-o-Y respectively.
