Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported December consolidated revenue of NT$10.02 billion, up 4% Y-o-Y. The sales growth was attributable to Lite-On’s ongoing expansion in market share, coupled with stable demand. Consolidated revenue for Q4 was NT$30.57 billion, up 7% Y-o-Y. Consolidated revenue for the entire Y2010 reached NT$123.46 billion, with an impressive growth of 27% over Y2009 while hitting new record yearly high.
In December, all of Lite-On’s major business units showed steady growth, with the Camera Module, Optoelectronics (LED), and Power Supply business units posting growth of 100%, 17% and 10% Y-o-Y respectively. Especially notable has been the Camera Module business unit, capping 5 consecutive months of hitting new record monthly highs.
