Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported March consolidated revenue of NT$10.67 billion, up 35% M-o-M. The impressive sales growth was attributable to Lite-On’s ongoing expansion in market share and smooth delivery coupled with rising end demand. In March, all of Lite-On’s Strategic Business Groups (SBGs)* showed steady growth, with the Power Supply, Optoelectronics, Mechanical Competence and Connected Devices & System Solutions SBGs posting growth of 37%, 28%, 32% and 48% M-o-M respectively. Moreover, thanks to strong sales of high-end power systems, Power Supply revenue hit a new record monthly high in March.
As for yearly growth, the Power Supply and Optoelectronics achieved growth of 15% and 22% Y-o-Y respectively, and Lite-On Tech’s consolidated revenue for Q1 was NT$28.38 billion, maintaining approximately the same level as Q1 last year.
