Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported June consolidated revenue of NT$10.06 billion, maintaining the same level as prior month, mainly attributable to the stable end demand in the smartphone and tablet PCs market. Cumulative sales from January through June reached NT$ 58.57 billion.
Thanks to the well order intake in the core business groups, Opto-Electronics revenue posted a 25% yearly growth. Of which, LED business hit its highest monthly revenue in 2011, while Camera Module posted a remarkable yearly growth with 64% Y-o-Y, resulting from the ongoing market share gain and strong shipments in the tablet PCs and smartphone market globally.
