Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported September consolidated revenue of NT$10.24 billion, and Q3 revenue of NT$31.24 billion, up 3% Q-o-Q. Cumulative sales from January through September totaled NT$89.81 billion.
Thanks to solid orders received by Lite-On’s core business units, the Opto-Electronics business group posted a 9% increase in revenue over last year. Included in that, the Camera Module business unit capped 3 consecutive months of hitting new record monthly highs, due to ongoing market share gains and increased shipments of PCs and smart-phones globally. In the Mechanical Competence business group, the HIS (Human Input Solutions – PC keyboards and peripherals) business unit continued with its continuous gains in market share, resulting in its greatest monthly revenue in 2011.
