Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) reported its February consolidated revenue today, in the amount of NT$8.73 billion, up both 7% M-o-M and 10% Y-o-Y. The growth is mainly attributable to Lite-On’s ongoing expansion in market share and smooth delivery. Total sales from January to February reached NT$16.87 billion.
Sales of all of Lite-On’s major business units achieved remarkable growth in February: the Opto-Electronics business group posted growth of approximately 20% Y-o-Y, resulting from the Camera Module business unit’s ongoing gains in global market-share of smart-phones and PCs, and smooth delivery of Optoelectronics (LED). Meanwhile the Mechanical Competence business group also posted growth of approximately 20%, mainly driven by market-share gains of PC keyboards coupled with increased shipments of MFP (Multi-Function Peripherals). Moreover, thanks to strong sales of high-end power systems, the Power Supply SBG reported growth of 6% Y-o-Y.
