Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported April consolidated revenue of NT$10.05 billion, slightly up 1% Y-o-Y, mainly attributable to steady end-demand coupled with ongoing market share gains. Cumulative sales from January through April reached NT$37.46 billion.
In April, all of Lite-On's major businesses showed solid development, and Optoelectronics SBG posted a growth of 24% Y-o-Y, resulting from the Camera Module business unit's ongoing gains in the global market-share of smart-phones and PCs, coupled with the smooth delivery of optoelectronics (LED), while revenue of the Camera Module continuously hit new monthly sales record highs. Moreover, the HIS (Human Input Solutions – PC keyboards and peripherals) business unit in the Mechanical Competence business group also posted a remarkable growth of approximately 30% Y-o-Y for ongoing market share gains.
