LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated July Sales of NT$13.71 Billion, up 6% Y-o-Y, a Second Record High in 2021

LITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its July consolidated revenue of NT$13.71 billion, up 2% M-o-M and 6% Y-o-Y, excluding transferred Silitech, which would not be consolidated into LITEON’s financial report starting from 2021. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January to July totaled NT$92.1 billion, up 13% Y-o-Y.

Opto-electronics business contributed a 21% share of total sales, of which, the ongoing demand growth from LED components driven by invisible LEDs used in industrial automation, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, smoothly delivery of high-end Mini LED, coupled with shipment growth of LED vehicle lighting supported Opto-electronics a growth of 6% Y-o-Y in July.

Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 28% share of total sales, a record high in 2021. Thanks to stable demand from datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, power supplies for AI smart home devices and high-end sever enclosures, Cloud & AIoT posted a growth of 13% Y-o-Y.

Information Technology & Consumer Electronics business accounted for 51% of total revenue, of which, the demand growth from IT power supplies, keyboards, mice and peripherals supported a consecutive yearly growth.
