LITE-ON Technology Corp. (TW 2301) is pleased to announce that it has been continuously selected as a member of the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for eight consecutive years and listed in the Industry of Computer & Peripherals and Office Electronics of DJSI-Emerging Markets, demonstrating its success in achieving the international standards of sustainability practices.

Setting the “Best Partner in Opto-Electronic, Eco-friendly, and Intelligent Technologies” as its vision, LITE-ON has been committed to developing operations and products enhancing the positive impacts on the society and environment. With insights and data analysis of inputs from stakeholders, LITE-ON quantified the influence to further optimize the sustainability of its products and strengthen the company’s core business. LITE-ON is the first company in Taiwan implementing the social impact measure in Leotek LED Street Lighting’s investment in 2017 Mercury Sunset Project, being certified by Social Value International that the project resulted in the Social Return on Investment (SROI) at a multiplier of 2.85.

LITE-ON has been selected as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for eight consecutive years, included in the Constituent MSCI ESG Leaders Indexes for four consecutive years and was also ranked as one of Top 100 Global Technology Leaders by Thomson Reuters in 2018. Meanwhile, LITE-ON was ranked on the Top 5% listed companies of the fourth Corporate Governance Evaluation by Taiwan Stock Exchange as well as won the“Corporate Citizenship” Award from Common Wealth Magazine for 12th Straight Year.
