Lite-On Technology Corporation reported the estimated global revenue of October 2003 reached NT$ 11.48 billion, with an 14% increase on a MoM basis and 17% on a YoY basis. Adding the revenues of Lite-On IT Technology and Silitech Corporation, two majority owned subsidiaries, the estimated global consolidated revenue for October 2003 reached NT$16.01 billion with a 13 % increase on a MoM basis and 20% increase on a YoY basis.

The revenue of Peripherals and Components SBG was NT$7.74 billion with a 19% increase on a MoM basis. The sales of LCD Monitors broke the historical record and reached 353,000 units. The sales of LEDs and keyboards also showed strong growth.

With the demand increase from China customers, the quantity of handsets shipped in October exceeded 421,000 units. The revenue of Communications SBG was NT$680 millions which represented a 5% increase on a MoM basis.

The revenue of New Business Development SBG was $1.6 billion with a 1% increase on a MoM basis.

The sales of Image products increased 7 % on a MoM basis with NT$1.46 billion revenue.
