Lite-On Technology Corporation announced today the appointment of Andrew Lin the new Chief Finance Officer, effective December 2003. Prior to joining Lite-On technology, Lin was the Chief Investment Officer of ABN AMRO Asset Management Taiwan. Lin also holds a number of professional finance experience including: general manager of J.P. Morgan Securities Taiwan, VP of Jardine Fleming Securities Taiwan, consultant of McKinsey & Company and Booz Allen & Hamilton, project manager of AT&T Bell Labs, and R&D engineer of Prime Computer and DEC in his early career stage.

Lite-On Technology also recognized the CFO and president of Communications Strategic Business Group, Mr. Ignatius Wei's leadership in the past year, especially his contribution during its "four-in-one" integration process was critical to the company.
