LITE-ON Technology Reports Consolidated August Sales of NT$18.59 Billion

LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its August consolidated revenue of NT$18.59 billion, up 20% M-o-M and 8 % Y-o-Y, excluding the transferred mobile phone camera module business revenue; if including the transferred mobile phone camera module business revenue, the August sales was flat comparing with the same period last year. Thanks to stable end demand from core businesses, cumulative sales for January and August totaled NT$137.32 billion.

Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 15% share of total sales. Thanks to the growing demand from invisible LED, ongoing market share gains in LED components, coupled with smooth delivery of LED vehicle lighting, Optoelectronics business posted a growth of over 10% Y-o-Y.

Information Technologies business accounted for 59% of sales, of which, delivery growth of high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, power supplies for AI smart home devices and server enclosures, coupled with ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) supported the steady growth in Information Technologies.

Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 20% of total revenue. Thanks to strong demand from cloud computing application, the segment posted a growth of 30% Y-o-Y.
