  • Rolled out Employee Stock Ownership Trust (ESOT) to increase proportion of employees holding company shares.

  • LITEON launched succession plan. The Board elected Tom Soong as Chairman and Anson Chiu as President.
  • Completed the Transfer of Solid State Drives Business (SSD) to KIOXIA Holdings Corporation.

  • Acquired 100% of LOJ through tender offer to integrate group resources and synergies.
2018
  • Transferring business of mobile camera module and mobile mechanical in order to facilitate more efficient business and profit models, thereby increasing long term gains for shareholders, customers, and employees.

  • Announced to set up an operation center in Kaohsiung, opening new facility in the Nanzih Export Processing Zone.

  • The first electronic company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange with ticker 2301.

  • Zhonghe, Taiwan, where the legend began with the establishment of LITEON first LED factory.

  • LITEON Technology Corp. established the subsidiary in California, United States.

  • Acquired the switching power supply plant of NPE company in the UK.
1990
  • Established a production site in Penang, Malaysia, manufacturing switching power supplies.
  • Silitek Corp acquired Maxi Switch, the third largest U.S. keyboard manufacturer, to create more added value for product lines.

  • Established its first overseas production facility in Bangkok, Thailand, manufacturing optoelectronic products.

  • LITEON Technology Global Headquarters officially moved in Neihu Science Park.
2002
  • LITEON Electronics, Silitek, LITEON Technology and GVC merged and became known as LITEON Technology Corporation. The "2301" ticker represents LITEON Technology as the leader of the domestic IT Industry.
1999
  • The Optoelectronics business unit of LITEON Technology Corp., spun off as a separate entity known as the LITEON IT Corp.
2014
  • In 2014, LITEON was selected as part of the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index in the Carbon Disclosure Project.
2013
  • The acquisition of Power Innovations of the United States strengthened core competencies in cloud applications and power management solutions.
2011
  • LITEON was ahead of its peers in completing the world's first Product Category Rules for Circuit Boards.
2010
  • The investment in Epyon Power, a supplier of intelligent fast-charging solutions, gave LITEON a technological advantage.
  • LITEON Technology completed the world's first Optoelectronic Semiconductor Product Carbon Footprint Declaration and Type III Environmental Product Declaration.
2009
  • LITEON Technology opened officially the East China Regional Headquarters in Wujin, Changzhou. The headquarters would be a significant contributor to better supply chain management and higher cost efficiency.
2007
  • A special shareholders’ meeting approved the acquisition of a 100% stake in Li Shin International Enterprise Corporation by stock swap. The acquisition was an aggressive step towards integration of power supply product resources to enable quick entry into LCD TV power supply units and other new products.
  • LITEON completed a tender offer for the world's largest handset casing maker, Perlos, to create a more developed mobile phone supply chain that would provide one-stop shopping for mobile phone parts and components.
2006
  • LITEON IT Corp. acquired BenQ Corporation's Optical Disk Drive Business to become one of the top 3 ODD manufacturers in the world.
  • Expand the collaboration with Philips working together to enter the automotive disc drive market.
  • LITEON Technology acquired a 100% stake in LITEON Automotive Corp. as part of the expansion into automotive electronics.
