The Software Department is responsible for software/firmware development and maintenance for surveillance cameras and AIoT devices, including requirement analysis, feature development, issue/bug tracking and fixing, release management, and ongoing product support to ensure stability and quality. We collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams to drive system integration, resolve performance and compatibility issues efficiently, and deliver product releases on schedule with continuous improvements.
【Goal】
Implement a “Firmware Issue → GitHub Project Automation Assistant” so that firmware-related issues are automatically added to the designated GitHub Project, required fields are populated, and statuses are kept in sync. This replaces repetitive manual steps with a standardized, automated workflow—reducing overhead and human error while improving consistency, traceability, and overall development/collaboration efficiency—so the team can spend more time on analysis and delivery rather than project administration.
【Project Content】
1. Define the end-to-end workflow and automation rules (issue scope, target project(s), required fields, status mapping, edge cases/exceptions).
2. Build automation using GitHub-native tools (GitHub Actions / GitHub App) to auto-add new or updated issues to the designated GitHub Project.
3. Auto-populate and validate Project fields based on issue labels, templates, or metadata.
4. Implement status synchronization triggered by issue/PR events, label changes, or milestones.
5. Provide a manual override and audit trail (opt-out mechanism, re-run capability, logging/notifications) to ensure safe adoption and easy troubleshooting.
6. Create documentation and onboarding materials, and run a pilot with the firmware team to collect feedback and iterate.

Software Engineering works through two functions to ensure product software quality and release readiness:
• Software Test: designs test cases, runs tests, and summarizes test reports.
• Software Test Development: turns test cases into automated tests (pytest + Jenkins + TestLink) and maintains the test platform.
Currently, test engineers still spend a lot of time reading test results, picking out key points, and writing reports.
【Goal】
Create a repeatable way to summarize test results into a clear Excel report.
The tool should:
(1) Get all test results for the selected Test Plan + Build from TestLink.
(2) For failed tests, include the Jenkins report link and key error information stored in TestLink notes.
(3) Use AI to group identical/similar failures into the same issue.
(4) Email the final Excel report.
Goal: reduce manual report writing from about 1 day to under 30 minutes, and make the summary more consistent.
【Project Content】
1) Get results – Read the selected build results from TestLink and list which tests passed and which failed.
2) Keep key details – For failed tests, bring the Jenkins report link and the key error notes into the report.
3) Create an easy-to-read Excel – Include a short summary, a simple issue list, and a full list of all results.
4) Group similar failures – Use AI to merge repeated/similar failures into the same issue, so the report is shorter and clearer.
5) Send by email – Email the Excel report to the team and include a few highlights in the email body.
6) (Optional) Add tracking – Reserve a column for Redmine ticket ID/link for follow-up.
7) Write a quick guide – Provide simple steps so the next person can use it quickly.
8) Development approach – Use Vibe Coding: AI-assisted rapid prototyping and iteration (with basic reviews to keep quality).

During the application development process, in addition to core program logic, developers often need to handle many tedious and time-consuming tasks, such as managing multilingual text files and color code tables. These tasks consume significant time yet add little value, and they are also prone to errors.

This system leverages AI image recognition and optical character recognition (OCR) technologies to analyze UI design documents and automatically generate all required text files and color code tables for the application. It also produces multi-platform, ready-to-use files that enable engineers to integrate them quickly and efficiently.

The department is responsible for the development, maintenance, process governance, and cross-system integration of the enterprise workflow platform (eFlow) and its related systems.

Our scope includes core applications such as attendance management,
business travel and expense reporting, payment requests, purchasing processes, and the supplier/employee portals.

We ensure that workflow operations across all global sites run smoothly, securely,
and in full compliance with internal control requirements.

By enabling employees to collaborate through a unified workflow platform,
we reduce process inconsistencies, improve execution efficiency, and strengthen operational alignment across the organization.
【Goal】
The goal of this project is to introduce full-text search and AI capabilities to improve search performance and user experience.

Objectives
•Phase 1 – Search foundation
Build keyword-based full-text search with access control, allowing users to quickly locate documents.
•Phase 2 – AI enhancement
Add AI features such as semantic search, result summaries, image recognition for attachments, RAG, and agents.
This allows knowledge to evolve from “searchable” to “understandable and actionable,” such as assisting with form applications or comparing multiple forms.
Your Role in This Project

In this project, you will mainly work on semantic search and search result summaries.
【Project Content】
1. Natural Language → Structured Query
Build AI logic that understands user intent and key information, converting natural language questions into accurate search queries.
2. Smart Summaries
Design prompt based solutions that turn raw search results into clear, structured summary cards, helping users quickly understand key points.
3. Cross Document Comparison
Use LLMs to compare multiple historical forms and highlight content changes, important value differences, and policy updates.
4. Prompt Quality & Reliability
Test and improve prompts to reduce AI hallucinations and make sure unclear queries still return the correct results.
5. Integration & Performance Optimization
Integrate AI features into the existing search flow while optimizing response time and token usage.
