LITE-ON Technology Corporation wins “Corporate Citizenship” Award from Common Wealth Magazine for 13th Straight Year

LITE-ON Technology Corporation has won a Corporate Citizenship Award from Common Wealth Magazine for thirteen years in a row. This recognition is attributable to LITE-ON’s outstanding performance in transparency and corporate governance, as well as its sustainability strategy and SDG developments. In the education field, LITE-ON Award has held for 20 consecutive years, supporting the innovation of technology industry and cultivating numerous young design talents. Facing the global extreme climate challenge, LITE-ON actively involves in the marine ecosystem maintenance by transforming the marine waste Styrofoam into computer peripheral products with its core competences, and creates a circular economy, which has been unanimously recognized by the jury of Common Wealth Magazine.

“To achieve sustainable development, LITE-ON upholds its entrepreneurial approach and focuses on solid execution and advancement toward the vision of "Best Partner in Opto-Electronic, Eco-Friendly and Intelligent Technologies." LITE-ON's core values include "environmental sustainability," "tolerance and innovation," and "sustainable governance," consistent with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in green products, application and innovation, responsible manufacturing, employee development, and social impact. LITE-ON works with its stakeholders to achieve economic, environmental, and social sustainability,” said Mr. Warren Chen, LITE-ON Vice Chairman and Group CEO.

Through holding “LITE-ON Award” annually, combining competitions, innovation seminar in campuses, and international forums, LITE-ON continuously encourages global Chinese technology innovation activity for nearly 20 years.
