Lite-On Technology Corporation reported the estimated global revenue of June 2003 reached 7.32 billion NT dollars , with a 2% increase on a MoM basis and a 1% increase on a YoY basis. The accumulated revenue for the first half-year of 2003 reached 44 billion NT dollars, with a 2% increase on a YoY basis.

Adding the revenues of Lite-On IT Technology and Silitech Corporation, the two majorities owned subsidiaries, the estimated global consolidated revenue for June of 2003 reached NT 10.43 billion dollars with a 4 % increase on a MoM basis. The accumulated consolidated revenue for the first half-year, 2003 reached 63.9 billion NT dollars.

The revenue of Peripherals and Components Strategic Business Group was 4.43 NT billion dollars with a 7 % increase on a YoY basis. The sales of LCD Monitors (120,000 units) were lowered compared with the previous month but expected to expand to 180,000-200,000 units for the sale of new models since July. The sales of Adapters, LEDs and Keyboards were inline with forecast. Printer and Multi Function Printers remained stable in sales, resulted in NT$1.44 billion dollars, added with the sale of DSC, for the Image Strategic Business Group.

Due to client’s delay for the new models, sales quantity of handsets temporally dropped from 340,000 units last month to 200, 000 units in June. and the revenue reached NT$0.33 billion dollars. The sales of networking and system products contributed NT$1.11 billion dollars to the total revenue, with a 31% increase on a MoM basis.
