LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated September Sales, of NT$15.9 billion, up 9% Y-o-Y, Hitting 3-Year High

LITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its September consolidated revenue of NT$15.9 billion, up 3% M-o-M and 9% Y-o-Y, hitting 3-year high, as a result of ongoing market share gain from data center in cloud computing and strong market demand on automotive electronics. Thanks to continuous optimization of product mix and the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January to September totaled NT$ 130 billion, up 8% Y-o-Y.

Opto-electronics business contributed a 18% share of total sales, of which, stable demand from LITEON’s worldwide No.1 shipment photocouplers used in industrial automation and green energy advanced applications; coupled with delivery growth of the electronic vehicle chargers, LED vehicle lighting and ADAS camera modules, Opto-electronics business posted a yearly growth near 4%.

Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 35% share of sales, a continuous record high in 2022. Thanks to ongoing market demand from high-end datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, Cloud & AIoT posted a yearly growth over 10%.

Information Technology & Consumer Electronics business accounted for 47% of sales, thanks to the solid growth of high-end power adapters shipments and the sequentially optimized product portfolio in the peripherals, all supported a yearly growth over 5%.
