LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated October Sales of NT$14.1 Billion, a Third Record Sales in 2020

LITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its October consolidated revenue of NT$14.1 billion, a third record monthly revenue in 2020 despite October holiday shutdown, down 4% M-o-M and 1% Y-o-Y, excluding transferred SSD business. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January and October totaled NT$129.77 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 20% share of total sales. Thanks to ongoing demand growth from LED components, of that, the invisible LEDs used in 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, coupled with delivery growth of LED outdoor lighting, Opto-electronics posted a sales growth of approximately 10% Y-o-Y.

Information & Communication Technologies business accounted for 76% of sales, of which, high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing as well as HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) continued to show growth in shipment.
