LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated September Sales of NT$14.76 Billion, a Record Sales in 2020

LITEON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its September consolidated revenue of NT$14.76 billion, hitting a record monthly revenue in 2020, up 10% M-o-M and decreasing 5% Y-o-Y, excluding transferred SSD business. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January and September totaled NT$115.67 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 20% share of total sales. Thanks to ongoing demand growth in LED components of invisible LED, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, coupled with delivery growth of LED outdoor lighting, Opto-electronics posted a sales growth of approximately 10% Y-o-Y.

Information & Communication Technologies business accounted for 76% of sales, of which, the growing demands from high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, Notebook PC adapters and gaming powers as well as ongoing market share gain in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) supported Information & Communication Technologies a sequential monthly growth of 10%.
