LITE-ON Wins Enterprise Asia’s 2019 International Innovation Awards

LITE-ON, Taiwan. December 5, 2019

LITE-ON Technology (TWSE: 2301) today announced LITE-ON Antenna Alignment and Monitoring Solution received the 2019 International Innovation Award in the category of Service & Solution at International Innovation Summit and the International Innovation Awards 2019. The solution is recognized using innovative technologies, automated processes, and new business models to solve the pain point and to reduce base station maintenance cost for Telecom operators.

"It’s a great honor to be recognized with the 2019 International Innovation Award”, said Taylor Yang, President, Smart Life and Applications, LITE-ON Technology. “This award validates LITE-ON has successfully transformed to a solution provider. We are capable of designing a total solution fulfilling the demand of 5G market for Telecom customers.”

This award is held annually by Enterprise Asia. The evaluation measurements include innovation distinction, problem solved, replicability and institutional support, and measurable results. LITE-ON’s innovative antenna solution had been rigorously reviewed and was selected among more than 200 companies in Asia Pacific.

LITE-ON Antenna Alignment and Monitoring Solution are a set of Antenna Alignment Tool and Antenna Monitoring Tool; the former is used to provide accurate orientation data, while the latter is used to monitor the sector antenna by constantly transmitting data to the cloud via NB-IoT. Two data flows are integrated with a Smart Assistant app and Telecom OSS/BSS. This solution is expected to save hundreds thousands dollars maintenance cost, realizing data management and optimizing maintenance process.
