Lite-On Tech reported its global consolidated April revenue of NT$13.7 billion with 79% growth on a YoY basis. Lite-On Tech is strategically positioned as an “Opto-electronic component” leading provider where Digital Display, Power Supply, Image and LED together totaled NT$11Bn in April, sustaining at 80% of the total revenue.
Digital displays, including CRT monitors, LCD monitors and projectors, together shipped slightly over 821k units, achieving NT$7.5bn and growing considerably at 188% YoY.
Power supply products realized NT$1.5bn with 7% growth on a YoY basis while NB adaptor shipment continue to increase, securing 40% global market share.
Image products, including MFP, Printers, Scanners and Phone camera modules, achieved NT$1.4bn, 29% YoY. The growth drivers here continue to be the increasing volume of MFP and phone camera modules, in addition to the laser printers which Lite-On Tech started mass producing and shipping last month.
LED revenue grew 28% YoY to NT$630 million in April, thanks to the expansion for Photo-Coupler and the growth in SMD LED shipment, where white LED started shipping in March.
Other products including PC systems, keyboards, networking equipment and wireless handsets totaled NT$2.6Bn, making up for 20% of Lite-On Tech’s April revenue. April handset volume reached 378k units with revenue of NT$539 million, maintaining at the average monthly level of 1Q 04.
