Lite-On Technology reports January sales of NT$ 9.39 billion

Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported its January consolidated revenue, in the amount of NT$9.39 billion well up 56% Y-o-Y. The increased sales growth compared to last year is attributable to ongoing gains in market share and rising end market demand.

In January, each of Lite-On’s major business units maintained sales at the same level as the prior month, and the Optoelectronics (LED) business unit posted growth of 4% M-o-M, thanks to increased demand in the 3C (Computer, Communication and Consumer Electronics) applications. Meanwhile, the January sales of the Optoelectronics (LED), Power Supply and Camera Module business units demonstrated remarkable growth of 76%, 56% and 51% Y-o-Y respectively.
