Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported December consolidated revenue of NT$9.30 billion, maintaining the same level as the prior month, with Q4 revenue totaling NT$ 29.07 billion and consolidated revenue for the entire Year 2011 reaching NT$118.88 billion.
Thanks to solid orders received by Lite-On’s core business units in December, the Power business group posted sales growth of 4% Y-o-Y, resulting from high-end product shipment expansion in cloud computing applications. Meanwhile, in the Mechanical Competence business group, the HIS (Human Input Solutions – PC keyboards and peripherals) business unit also posted remarkable sales growth of approximately 30% Y-o-Y, mainly attributable to stable end-demand and ongoing market-share gains, coupled with increased shipments.
