As for revenue by business segments disclosed in the consolidated financial report, in the Optoelectronics & Communications business segment, Camera Module posted a revenue growth of over 30% Y-o-Y, supported by high-end products’ ongoing gains in the global market share of Smart-phones and Tablets; LED components & General Lighting products reported revenue growth of approximately 30%, thanks to substantial demand from branded customers and delivery growth; which resulted in this business segment’s net profits growth reaching approximately 80% Y-o-Y.
In the Storage business segment, Solid State Disk (SSD) posted a tremendous revenue growth of 260% Y-o-Y, as a result of strong market demand, in spite of consecutive declines in Optical Disk Drives (ODD) for IT application.

In Q213, a better product mix and ongoing margin expansions are expected, resulting from solid demand for Cloud Computing Mobile devices, LED & General Lighting and Automotive Electronics. LED Lighting business will play a key role in driving the company’s profitable growth with its strong position in the global market of LED General Lighting (indoor and outdoor) and Vehicle Lighting ― including its subsidiary Leotek’s gradual completion of its projects for 46,000 LED street lights in a total of six counties in Taiwan this year.
