LITE-ON Technology Reports Consolidated March Sales of NT$12.6 Billion, up 45% M-o-M

LITE-ON Technology (2301-tw) today reported its March consolidated revenue of NT$12.6 billion, up 45% M-o-M and down 14% Y-o-Y, thanks to the optimized global manufacturing capacities, coupled with efficient resumption of production in mainland China. Cumulative sales for January and March totaled NT$32.59 billion.

Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 18% share of total sales, of which, LED components posted a growth of over 10% Y-o-Y supported by strong demand from IoT related products as well as UVC LED applied for medical, disinfection and air purification, resulting in March revenue of Opto-electronics a growth of approximately 30% M-o-M.

Information Technologies business accounted for 66% of sales, of which, stable demand in high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, Notebook PC adapters and server enclosures, coupled with ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) drove Information Technologies a growth of 55% M-o-M in March. Meanwhile, the Storage segment accounted for 12% of total revenue with a sales growth of over 50% M-o-M.
